As I sit here shivering and writing this, I'm so ready for the warmer weather to arrive and to actually enjoy the outdoors again! I think because of this, I've recently developed a love of plants inside the home as you can enjoy being surrounded by nature and lush green plants all year round! At the beginning of the year I spent some of my Christmas money on a lovely large ceramic pot from H&M Home and an indoor plant to pop in it. The plant seemed to suddenly transform the feel of the room, and I found myself itching to get some more. Obviously as I mentioned in my previous post, we are having to move out in 2 months time and essentially we will be doing a form of house share, so space will be very limited in the new place- well just confined to one room actually! However, this hasn't phased me, and I will try and incorporate some greenery into our new living space!

Of course you don't just have to buy real plants, there's some fantastic faux greenery around if you don't fancy the responsibility of keeping something alive! Homesense have a great selection available and I also recently discovered a beautiful website called Fox Flowers which have the most realistic greenery I've ever seen. I will definitely be purchasing some items from them soon!

Mustard yellow is bang on trend at the moment. In most homeware stores, you are guaranteed to come across a mustard coloured item. Mustard is a pretty versatile colour. We are incredibly lucky to have a large balcony for a 1 bedroom rented flat (approximately 18 foot wide and 6 foot deep). Having said that, when we first moved in 7 years ago and at 21 years old, we weren't that bothered by utilising the outdoor space that we had. Neither of us at the time were particularly into gardening. In fact, my other half didn't even have an outdoor space at his previous home. We both agreed that "at some point" we would do something with it and our attention was focused solely on making the inside of our flat look nice.
