| LIFESTYLE | Things I Would Tell My Younger Self

As turning 30 looms in front of me this year, I feel in a bit of a reflective mood. Almost 30 years on this earth and what can I say I have achieved or experienced in that time? I thought back to when I was young and naive at school and in my teens. If I could go back in time and talk to my younger self, what would I say?  Don't worry about what other people think. I spent the majority of my teenage years and even early twenties trying to "keep up with the Jones's". As I've grown older I just don't care about trying to look a certain way or wear a certain brand of makeup simply just to fit in. If people don't like me as a person, that's OK- I'd probably be better off without them anyway! Don't feel like you have to change who you are for anyone. The only person that will end up suffering is yourself. Friends come and go. When you're at school, you get so caught up in a bubble of only socialising with people in your class or year gr

| HOME | Our Stylish Rented Homes (Featuring Stephanie from Matson Bailey)

Welcome to my new regular post "Our Stylish Rented Homes". In this first post, I interviewed Stephanie from Matson Bailey . Please don't forget that if you would like to be featured in a future post, upload photos of your rented home to Instagram and use the hashtag #ourstylishrentedhomes ........ Hi, I’m Stephanie (Steph) and I have lived in my rented (shared) home in Camberwell, South London for almost 5 years now. I love the area as I'm so close to the centre of London but have the advantage of being on the edge of town near to the countryside so it’s really the best of both worlds. Obviously the pit falls of living in a shared home is that a lot of things can become broken or ruined because your housemates don’t often understand the importance or sentimentality of your belongings or simply how to keep things nice. However, my room is my little sanctuary to stamp my mark onto and to keep my ridiculous amount of bits and bobs that I have collected over the year

As I sit here shivering and writing this, I'm so ready for the warmer weather to arrive and to actually enjoy the outdoors again! I think because of this, I've recently developed a love of plants inside the home as you can enjoy being surrounded by nature and lush green plants all year round! At the beginning of the year I spent some of my Christmas money on a lovely large ceramic pot from H&M Home and an indoor plant to pop in it. The plant seemed to suddenly transform the feel of the room, and I found myself itching to get some more. Obviously as I mentioned in my previous post, we are having to move out in 2 months time and essentially we will be doing a form of house share, so space will be very limited in the new place- well just confined to one room actually! However, this hasn't phased me, and I will try and incorporate some greenery into our new living space! I've taken a lot of inspiration from Pinterest (check out my page here  if you haven't don
