As an interior design junkie, I absolutely love reading about the latest interior styles, tips, and getting ideas for how to improve my own home.
Sure, you can look most of this up online, but nothing beats the feeling of picking off a new magazine from the shelf, sitting on the sofa at home with a cup of tea, and flicking through the glossy pages. I like to keep all of my interior magazines- (not only because some of them aren't exactly cheap!) but also they make a nice addition to my living room. I have them in a wooden crate by my sofa, and it's something for people to have a look at when they visit. Also, all my inspiration is kept in one place, and I can refer back to something at any time.
My first favourite magazine has to be Country Homes & Interiors. At £4.20 each time it definitely isn't the cheapest around, but you do get some lovely interior shots from fantastically quaint little cottages, to modern barn conversions. I love reading the articles about couples renovating old buildings and actually turning it into a home. The photography inside is always beautiful, and the whole magazine just feels very well "put together". I also really like the fact that each month, the cover photo reflects what the season is like- for example, last Autumn the covers featured a lot of burnt orange and yellow shades. Just a little touch- but I like it!

Secondly, is Ideal Home. This magazine contains a mixture of both modern and more contemporary ideas and articles. Unlike Country Homes and Interiors (which let's face it, is aimed at people with a fair amount of money to spend!) Ideal Home features items that are considerably more affordable, and probably easier to get hold of- they often feature homewares from H&M Home, Laura Ashley and Zara Home for example. It is an easy read and again, if you enjoy flicking through photos of interiors just to get inspiration, then this is another good magazine for you.
