| HOME | The New Room

With less than a month until the move, I thought I'd share with you my ideas for the decor of our new room. As you know I do love cottage interiors, but for quite some time even before the news of the move, I was getting the itch to do an interior overhaul and incorporate house plants and have a more "bohemian/botanical" vibe.  The new room luckily is large. It's around the same size as our current bedroom with a slight bay window. We also don't need to worry about taking our huge ugly wardrobe with us as the room has built in cupboards (all with full length mirrors which will create some light in the room). The carpet is neutral and only a few years old so that won't need replacing. I was toying with painting the walls completely white, but we settled on a warmer toned paint from Dulux called "Natural Hessian" which is a light beige colour. I'm actually quite excited to have a whole new room to put my stamp on...and I get to wave go
