| HOME | Cheap Tuesdays! (21/02/2017)

Apologies for not doing a feature on this last week...somehow the time ran away with me, and before I knew it, it was the end of the week and I thought well I could still post a Cheap Tuesdays but do it late but it wouldn't be the same (or a Tuesday)! So I just decided to miss a week instead! :)  Today though, I have TWO lovely (and affordable) items for you from Laura Ashley . I absolutely love Laura Ashley. Whenever I am out and about and happen to pass one, I always make sure to pop in and have a browse!  First off while I was browsing their website recently, I came across this gorgeous hexagonal hanging mirror with gold edging. This really would look good in any home with any type of interior. From the super modern to the more classical. I think it's great that you can mix and match different types of accessories for your home and they can compliment each other perfectly. Also I couldn't believe that this mirror was just £18.00! Next to pair up with t

| LIFESTYLE | My Favourite Interiors Magazines

As an interior design junkie, I absolutely love reading about the latest interior styles, tips, and getting ideas for how to improve my own home.  Sure, you can look most of this up online, but nothing beats the feeling of picking off a new magazine from the shelf, sitting on the sofa at home with a cup of tea, and flicking through the glossy pages. I like to keep all of my interior magazines- (not only because some of them aren't exactly cheap!) but also they make a nice addition to my living room. I have them in a wooden crate by my sofa, and it's something for people to have a look at when they visit. Also, all my inspiration is kept in one place, and I can refer back to something at any time. My first favourite magazine has to be Country Homes & Interiors. At £4.20 each time it definitely isn't the cheapest around, but you do get some lovely interior shots from fantastically quaint little cottages, to modern barn conversions. I love reading the articles ab

| HOME | Brand Watch: Peony & Sage

I have been following a company on Instagram called Peony & Sage for some time now, and wanted to do a short feature on them here at Eves & Moon. Peony & Sage are a Vintage and French inspired fabrics company. They also sell gifts, stationery, homewares, and wallpaper. I absolutely love their style which contains ditsy florals, lace trimmings, simple stripes and polka dots (mainly because everything looks like it could belong in someones cottage!)  The colour palette used throughout their items features pastel pink, blue, cream and grey. These colours will surely compliment a home with an already neutral interior, and will provide a calm but cozy environment.  I can't wait to get my hands some cushions and perhaps a sneaky candle or two!  Make sure to also follow their Instagram too at https://www.instagram.com/peonyandsage

| HOME | Cheap Tuesdays! (07/02/17)

This week, I'm bringing you a gorgeous marble photo frame with gold edging from Urban Outfitters  which is retailing for £16!  This frame is great if you want to start slowly introducing marble items into your home; possibly if you have quite a traditional interior, but wanted to start adding in some more contemporary features.  Urban Outfitters is a great place to find modern and sometimes quirky homewares. Be sure to check them out!

| HOME | My Love of Cottages

I have a real love of cottages and anything "countrified". I think this stems from my childhood- I lived close to the countryside and near a charming little village set down in a valley which was lined with cottages beside a stream, and surrounded by rolling hills.  I had a close friend growing up who lived in a neighbouring village in an old post office. It was such a charming building decked with warped wooden beams on the walls and ceilings, a cobbled courtyard outside, and a beautiful english country garden, filled with flowers. Their living room had a large inglenook fireplace which usually contained a crackling log fire and one of their black labradors asleep by the hearth.  A beautiful English cottage During the summer months, we would run around the garden and climb trees, or go exploring in one of the nearby fields with a plastic tub each, and pluck ripe blackberries off the hedgerows.  In my teenage years, my best friend at the time also lived in an
