So one minute you're planning your first blog post of 2018 and writing about all the things you had your eye on to get for your home, and the next minute you're being told that your home is being put up for sale. Yup, that's my fantastic start to this year. We have just a handful of months left to clear out all our belongings and move elsewhere. This unfortunately, is the harsh reality of renting a property. We've lived in our little flat for getting on 8 years and we have had some fantastic (and also not so fantastic) memories there. We moved in as excited 21 year olds- fresh out of our parent's homes and full of ideas and hopes for the future. We will leave as almost 30 year olds and faced with a completely different living situation. However, not all of this situation is doom and gloom. We're now making plans to start saving for a deposit on a place of our own. We could have easily rented somewhere else but as many young people who rent know, s
