| DIY | A Thrifty Weekend Post!

As mentioned on my Instagram (if you don't follow me already, it's Eves & Moon ), I mentioned that this frame and prints were all completely free! There was nothing to it, and here's how you can do it too.  First off, if you weren't aware, if you sign up to IKEA Family (a free membership) then you are given the option to choose a free gift. *Note* I'm not sure if the options I had are always the same, or if they change them up, so apologies if the frame is no longer there.  Once I got the frame home, I literally just went onto Google Images and searched for the pictures that I liked and printed them off! You may have to search around for a while for images that don't have a watermark or are distorted when you print them off, but this shouldn't take too long. | DIY | Bringing The Beach In

Firstly, sorry for the lack of posts the past few months. I lost my mojo for a little while, but hopefully I will be getting back on track now!  There's nothing more relaxing than being by the sea. Unfortunately, I live at least an hours drive to the coast, so I have to make the beach come to me!  I've always loved nautical themed interiors- particularly in the bathroom. Luckily mine is predominantly white inside, so it provided me with a lovely blank canvas in which to create my beachy haven.  Of course you can quite easily go overboard (excuse the pun!) with any kind of theme, and it can soon just look messy and let's be honest, a bit naff! If you can still keep it simple, but introduce some nautical touches, you can't go wrong. The main problem with my little bathroom was the lack of storage.
